What Is Cleaning For Cancer Week?

Jeannie Cleaning will host its’ 6th Annual “Cleaning For Cancer Week” during October 14-18, 2024 to help raise awareness about Cleaning For A Reason, in the Kalamazoo community. Our focus is to serve at least 10 cancer patients during this week and raise over $10,000!
Cleaning For A Reason connects cancer patients to local participating cleaning businesses in their area. Once connected, patients receive 2 Free Cleanings while undergoing cancer treatment.

Why Are We Doing This?

Maintaining a clean home, while focusing on your health and spending time with family is challenging when going through cancer treatment. At Jeannie Cleaning, our mission is to “Make Lives Better, In All That We Do.” By cleaning for cancer patients, our goal is to take away the stress of housework, so people can focus on their health and family.

What does the cleaning entail?

Each patient will receive a Free Regular Maintenance Cleaning visit which includes dusting, cleaning & sanitizing surfaces in the Kitchen, Dining room, Living Room, Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Floors. Jeannie Cleaning’s all-natural, non-toxic cleaning products will be used.

How Can I get Involved?

Thank you for your interest in helping! There are many ways to get involved in this special week.

1) Apply or Nominate someone to receive Free Cleaning

  • Residence must be in Kalamazoo County.
  • Someone in the household must be currently receiving cancer treatment

2) Donate

  • We are looking for 100 donors to donate $100 (or more)
  • With $100 Donation- you will be on our Virtual Donor Wall
    • Current Clients- will receive $100 Gift Certificate when donating $100 or more
    • New Clients- For every new client that signs up for recurring service during the month of October- Jeannie Cleaning will donate $25 to Cleaning For A Reason.
